Summer Home Tour 2016 With Birch Lane and Country Living

Image
Hello! Happy Summer!  I was so excited when Nina Hendrick invited me to take part in this Simply Summer Home Tour that she is hosting, sponsored by Birch Lane and Country Living Magazine , along side 29 of my amazingly talented blogger friends.  These girls all have the prettiest homes, so be sure to follow along and check them all out ~ you will be blown away with inspiration, I know I am.  You can find a list of all the other bloggers joining me at the bottom of this post. As you already know, unless you are new around here, my style is very coastal.  We actually live in a small country town in Idaho, but because my family and I have such a big love for the coast, you will see lots of nautical and beachy touches around our home.   I feel like I can get away with coastal decor a lot easier in the summer time opposed to any other season, so I really have fun playing around with it. And by the way, if you are new around here, thank you so much for stopping by. If you like what you see

Hello.  I just wanted to quickly share with you today this simple succulent centerpiece that I created.  (Simple Succulent Centerpiece...Say that 3 times fast :) ) I wasn't sure what else to call it. The reason I thought that may inspire you is because these sorts of vases can Always be found at thrift stores, yard sales, and other junk stores.  And chances are you probably already have something like this on hand. But I think that this sort of vase might typically be something that you would just glance at and walk on by because on its own it doesn't look like anything special.   By filling the vas

Hello! Today I'm joining an amazing group of bloggers to take part in the Blogger Stylin' Home Tours  Summer edition, hosted by The White Buffalo Styling Co . This is such an awesome group of bloggers and I hope that you will take the time to check out all of their unique and stylish homes. Today is the last day of the tour. You can start the tour  Here  or if you are already following along, then you have probably come from With Heart.   What a beautiful bedroom reveal, Jennifer is always so inspiring. Welcome to our 1924 cottage! I like to refer to our home as a beach house because to me it looks like it belongs near the beach. I decorate our home with a casual coastal look that is relaxed and easy going.  However, we live in the country nowhere near the beach, but it's fun to pretend :) Your home is what you make it, right?  I recently made this sign that is hanging in our entryway and blogged about it HERE .  It's the lyrics from one of my favorite songs which are
