Image
Fall is just around the corner and I am ready to embrace it. Here are 15 things that are on my wish list for Fall I think these black organic rimmed dinner plates  would be cool and rustic for all of my fall gathering events. And I would want to pair those plates with these black and white feather napkins  . I love using rustic accents in the fall, and this Birch Branch candle holder would be so pretty sitting on a table, all lit up.  And this  Kilim rug. .....Do I need to say more? This cute fall tank made me smile. Speaking of Pumpkin Spice, every fall I Have To burn a pumpkin spice candle. Have To! I love the smell of pumpkin. My favorite candles ever are the WoodWick . Have you ever burned one of these?  The wick actually crackles like a fire when it's lit. When I think of fall, farm life always comes to mind for some reason.  So I feel like this faux cowhide pillow would be the perfect fall accessory. While I'm at it, I'll take one of the f aux fur ...

Denim Sofa Love

Image
I believe I have wanted a denim sofa ever since I saw this image from a Pottery Barn catalog many many years ago. Do you remember it? Even though this is from perhaps almost a decade ago, the look is still modern and cool today. I think denim is such a classic textile that will never go out of style. Pottery Barn Here are a few more denim sofas  that have me convinced I need one too. Source Muskoka Living  Source source  Nesting Place  Junk Gypsy/Pottery Barn Teen Pottery Barn As you may know,  I have the white Ikea Ektorp sofa, and at one time Ikea carried a denim slipcover for it. However, I didn't get to it in time and it's now been discontinued. But resourceful me has another idea up my sleeve.... One day I will have a denim sofa too :) Stay tuned! Emily

Image
Just like everybody else, I love Pinterest. Always have, Always will. It's kinda funny but whenever I have a question about something, I find myself heading to Pinterest instead of Google. Like just the other day I was wondering what my options were for covering stairs, I searched it on Pinterest and not only did I find pictures for wood, carpet, and tile, but I also found unique ideas like wallpaper, wine corks,  and even tire treads.  Which got my brain swirling with all kinds of inspiration.  Pinterest  brings all these creative minds together in one spot and provides a world of ideas.
