 I have the most darling pillows to share with you today! My sweet sister has the cutest Etsy shop, Berkley Ink,  where she is selling these adorable JOY pillow covers that she designed and made. And because she is the best sister in the world, she sent me a set of black ones to go with my holiday decorating this year.  These pillow covers also come in red or white, which I'll share for you at the end of this post. I just love the big statement these pillows make. I placed my pillows on the old white bench in our entryway.  This is the view you get when entering our home and I think it feels cheerful and welcoming. These pillow covers are made with a sturdy canvas cotton and are comfortable to have as throw pillows on a sofa.  I'm all about having a comfortable home, so I will not buy any pillows that are purely decorative and not cozy.   Also, most of all of my pillows have a down insert.  Down is the fluffiest and makes your pillows sit pretty. ...

Fall is just around the corner and I am ready to embrace it. Here are 15 things that are on my wish list for Fall I think these black organic rimmed dinner plates  would be cool and rustic for all of my fall gathering events. And I would want to pair those plates with these black and white feather napkins  . I love using rustic accents in the fall, and this Birch Branch candle holder would be so pretty sitting on a table, all lit up.  And this  Kilim rug. .....Do I need to say more? It's no secret that I love to shop yard sales.  In fact, a lot of my home's decor was picked up from various yard sales over the years.  I just find so much joy in rumbling through other people's junk. It's seriously one of my favorite things to do.   Almost every Saturday during the summer months my mother-in-law and I go out for a drive to see if we can catch a few sales and I almost always bring home a few treasures . Today, I want to share what I've picked up at yard sales so far this summer. Let's start with my haul from last weekend: The spinning DVD tower has found a home in our basement holding Wii U games. However, I have a vision of using it at Christmas time to hang our Christmas cards on using clothes pins.   The metal Basketball court rules sign (which I got for free) now hangs in my boy's room. I just celebrated my birthday at the beginning of the month. It was such an amazing day. It started off with a morning of gifts and love from my husband and boys, followed by a drive up the canyon to a hot springs swimming pool, which was definitely the highlight of my day.  It's a pretty good size outdoor pool with the warmest, purest water ever!  The pool has a metal roof and on this morning it started pouring down rain, so here I was, surround by loved ones, (we had the place to ourselves) and swimming my little Pisces heart out in the warmest water ever while listening to the sound of rain on a metal roof.  I tell ya, I had such a moment of pure bliss! I was in heaven! Afterwards, we went out to lunch at the Cheesecake factory (my favorite), did a little shopping at Pottery Barn (also my favorite), and that evening I had some lovely girlfriend over for drinks.  It really was a special day.
