Only five more weeks until our Beach Vacation!!!  Can you tell I'm excited?  Our family has rented a little beach house in northern California for Spring break.  We will be exploring the beaches of  northern California and southern Oregon Coast and we will also be checking out the beautiful Redwood forest.  I Cannot wait! I honestly LOVE that my boys are home with me, we've just been hanging out, playing in the snow, sitting in the hot tub, and being lazy all day long. It's been awesome! But this record breaking snowfall and freezing temps is really getting old.  I'm sooo ready for the snow to melt and to see green grass, warmer days, and sunshine again.  So since we've basically been snowed-in I have spent my days hanging out in our home office/sunroom moving things around and giving the room a bit of an update with a coa...

I was going through my files of photos and came across these ones of our master bathroom and I realized that I had never got around to sharing them with you.  So I thought I'd go ahead and post them today.  I think I have only shared this room once before, so chances are this may be your first time ever seeing it.    My husband and I dream about removing the bathtub and just have a large open shower in the room.   We never use this bathtub, probably because we have a hot tub outside that we use a lot to relax in. So Anyway, maybe one day we'll do some remodeling to our master bathroom. I have dreams of white subway tiles or something pretty and mosaic. But until then, I just work with what I have to create a soothing spa-like space. I've hung up these two hanging seashell chandeliers from the ceiling. I am in love with seashell chandeliers. Hi! In my last post I shared a picture of this driftwood garland that I had hanging in our backyard play house . I made it last summer using some driftwood that I had gathered up while on a family trip to the beach.  I had originally shared this tutorial over at City Farmhouse , but today I want to re share it here for any of you who may have missed it.  While I was on our trip to the coast, I saw quite a few of these driftwood garlands hanging on the porches of  quaint little beach cottages. I thought they were really neat and I knew I could make one of my own really easily, so I collected tons of driftwood to bring home every day we went to the beach  Like most of my projects, this was incredibly simple to make. I started off with 112 pieces of driftwood, each piece is approximately the same length. I drilled a hole into the center of each piece.
