One of my favorite things about fall is the weather.  The cooler weather always feels so nice after the scorching heat of  Summer, but yet it's not too cold to be able to enjoy the outdoors. There's also a crispness in the air and Fall just has a certain smell to it too that is all so welcoming.   When the lovely, Alicia, from A Burst of  Beautiful invited me to join her and some other blogging friends for a fall tablescape tour, I immediately said Yes, and I knew right away that I wanted to create an outdoor fall tablescpae to enjoy the weather and smells of fall with my friends and family. I also knew right away that I wanted to use copper in my tablescape.  Copper is so on trend right now and the warm color of copper pairs so well with the fall season.   I picked up some copper spray paint and used it to paint four metal coffee cans and six dollar store round pizza pans.  I wasn't sure how they would turn out, since the lid of the spray paint look...

With Easter coming up in just a few short weeks, I wanted to share this cute and simple craft with you. I shared this last year over at City Farmhouse , but in case you missed it, or forgot about it, I thought I'd share it again here on my own blog so that you too can create these  adorable framed bunny place cards for your tables this Easter. Supplies you will need: - Printer -Scissors - 2 Pieces of coordinating scrapbook paper. - 4 X 6 picture frames - Spray paint (optional) - Alphabet stickers or glitter - Cotton Balls or pom poms To make these Easter table place cards, the first thing you will need is to print out this bunny silhouette. Right click on bunny image and 'save image as' to your computer. Set paper size to 4 X 6 and print out.  Once it is printed, cut the bunny silhouette out and trace onto a piece of decorative scrapbook paper. Now cut out the bunny you just traced. Truth be told, we have never hosted a Thanksgiving dinner at our home. How did I get so lucky, you ask? Well every year we spend Thanksgiving with either my family in Utah or over at my mother-in-laws home.   So the pictures I'm about to share with you are from a fall table I put together for my Fall Home Tour but I wanted to share more of it for any of you looking for some easy and inexpensive ideas for your own Thanksgiving table. But before I get into all of the little details that pulled this look together, I first wanted to share some pictures of our dining room. Our dining room table once belong to my husband's grandparents who had it in their home on a ranch. It has two extra leaves that go in it, so this table can get pretty long, which is so nice whenever we have large diner parties. It's actually the perfect Thanksgiving table, but enough about that. Happy October! A few weeks ago I shared our Fall Home Tour and you may have noticed these napkins rings at our table setting.  Today, I want to share how I made them with you because I think they turned out really cute. I picked up this large belt at a yard sale over the summer because I loved the little green stripes on in.  I'm a sucker for stripes, and I liked that it was super long.  I believe this type of belt is used in hospitals to assist patients.  That may sound gross, but this belt appeared to be clean and new. Any long belt should work fine for this project, and in fact, I think a leather belt would be cool too. I wrapped the belt around a napkin to decide what size to make my rings and then I cut the belt into six pieces, all the same length.  I used a hot glue gun to secure the ends together. I like that these napkin rings can be used all year long. I'm sure I'll be using them at my Christmas dinner parties. I think they would look super cute with ...
